Job Description:

1. Coordinates the job function or program. Masters the knowledge and ability to administer academic, placement and vendor (electronically or pencil and paper) tests provided in the department. Serve as the lead in the department with maintaining clear and effective processes for staff to seamlessly administer all tests to individuals, groups, and specialized populations. Maintain necessary vendor certifications required to administer assessments. Function as a working coordinator by providing direct service to those that report to the RLC Testing Center(s) and/or Columbus campus.

2. Secures all tests and oversees the administration of tests as prescribed by faculty/staff/vendors. Receives and catalogs all tests materials necessary for test administration (i.e. passwords, attachments, and etc.). Assist with the return of completed tests. Investigates and resolves matters of significance.

3. Must meet Test Administrator/Proctor qualifications and obtain Certifications as required by National Test Vendors, i.e., Pearson VUE, PAN, ATI, HESI, etc., to administer and proctor these professional certification exams in the Testing Center. Ensures proper Test Administrator/Proctor guidelines and protocol are strictly followed by these National Test Vendors' policies and guidelines.

4. Maintains authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices and carries out major assignments that affects business operations. Communicates any challenges, opportunities, or deficits that may exist on the frontline. Keep team abreast of any changes to procedures. Enhance present procedures and policies. Provides information regarding the operation and meeting services needs to the Supervisor.

5. Provides continuous frontline assistance to team, especially during peak periods. Maintains continual contact with team, students, and faculty that report for testing services. Address and resolve any matters of conflict presented on the frontline that potentially impede service. Monitor work performance to enlist testing assistants for special assignments/duties.

6. Maintains authority to waive or deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval.

7. Maintains and demonstrates an environment that provides good customer service. Assist with the completion of satisfaction surveys. Serve as department ambassador with colleagues/personnel across the College through committee participation and campus activities. Maintains effective working relationships. Works with College administrators in planning long or short-term business objectives. Monitors work performed by others, provides guidance regarding work methods and standards, and provides direction to help ensure that work is completed timely and in accordance with College and program standards.

8. Participates in employee selection and training process. Assist with staff training & development through feedback, coaching and documentation for improved performance, mastery, and job satisfaction. Utilize department's electronic employee journal. Collaborate with training specialists on needed staff trainings. Assist with annual employee evaluations.

9. Researches and compiles information for reports and other documentation. Coordinates and prepares reports as deemed necessary by parties that utilize service. Compiles monthly and quarterly reports, establishes databases. Maintains confidential or sensitive records and information.

10. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required meeting workload demands. Cover at regional locations as needed. Rotating Saturdays are required.

11. Performs other related duties as required.

Usual Physical Demands: The incumbent of this position typically exhibits the physical demands identified in the Functional Job Analysis on file in the College's Human Resources Department and which is periodically reviewed and updated. Physical demands listed in the Functional Job Analysis are not job qualification standards, but are used to help the College assess and determine reasonable accommodations for otherwise qualified individuals covered by the American's with Disabilities Act.

While performing duties of this job, the employee regularly exhibits digital dexterity when entering data into computer. The employee frequently sits for extended periods of time, and occasionally stands and walks. Employee converses verbally with others in person and by telephone. Vision demands include close, relatively detailed vision when focusing on a computer screen. The employee occasionally lifts or exerts force of up to 10 pounds when moving boxes and other materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
