Associate Coordinator - S00334FY18

The New Student & Family Programs Student Development Specialist IIIprovides hands-on managerial and programmatic leadership for new student orientation, transition and retention initiatives grounded in an understanding of student development theory, particularly for first year students and student leaders.

Requirements: Bachelor degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience and five years of experience in student affairs work or related specialty area OR Master’s degree in applicable field and three years experience in student affairs work or related specialty area. Excellent oral and written communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team to aid students. Attends meetings and conferences concerning students and with student groups at times beyond usual working hours. Ability to work in general office conditions with the majority of time spent in contact with students. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
