The Operations Leader leads restaurant operations in a market area to achieve strategic objectives. They guide Area Coaches and ensure that the Whataburger experience is provided to customers and Family Members.- Partners with Area Coaches, Ops Leadership and Support System teams to increase profitability.
- Strategizes, plans, and supports new units and market growth.
- Visits restaurants to ensure Whataburger standard operating procedures are being followed.
- Supports Whataburger mission, works towards its vision, role-models its core values, and champions company initiatives.
- Promotes Whataburger brand.
- Provides timely communication.
- Identifies opportunities and makes well-reasoned decisions even in unpredictable situations.
- Coaches and develops Family Members to build the talent pipeline.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 9+ years’ experience supervising others at various organizational levels (e.g. regional or national level).
- Multi-unit management experience in a quick or full-service restaurant.
