The Talent Acquisition team has a team is responsible for sourcing, attracting and hiring top talent across the firm. The Recruiter is a combined role of full life cycle recruiting and recruitment coordination with a focus on providing outstanding service to hiring managers, a positive candidate experience and strong partnership with other TA team members. Success will come from a balance of creativity, efficiency, drive and interpersonal savvy.

As a Recruiter, you will:
  • Coordinate and schedule high-volume, complex video, phone and on-site interviews. Greet and escort candidates to interviews and make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Assist other recruiters in the mining of Baird's ATS database (Kenexa Brass Ring) to identify candidates for assigned requisitions.
  • Create offer letters and assist in the on-boarding/hiring process for new hires.
  • Coordinate background and reference checking process and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Assist in the execution of the full life-cycle recruiting process (10-20%) including managing multiple requisitions, reviewing candidate profiles and resumes, screening and presenting candidates, negotiating offers and on-boarding new hires.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Lead Recruiters to scope positions and understand the hiring needs for assigned clients. Use creative sources to identify top talent, assess candidate fit and skills, and serve as a consultant to hiring managers by making recommendations about candidates.
  • Review internal and external candidate referrals, providing a high-touch experience.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement process improvement strategies
  • Leverage multiple recruiting sources and Internet sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including ATS, search engines, job boards, social media, user groups, internal referrals and active networking.
  • Attend recruiting functions including job fairs at various universities during fall and spring campus recruiting efforts.

What we look for:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, plus minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on recruiting.
  • Experience with recruiting coordination including complex interview scheduling and other administrative tasks.
  • Effective interviewing skills with the ability to evaluate and present high quality candidates.
  • Strong sense of urgency, high level of accountability and ability balance multiple priorities.
  • Exemplary organization & time management skills; prioritizing multiple tasks by importance or impact to the company.
