Regional Sales Director - Northeast

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director - Northeast to join our team.


Responsible for the management of all sales activities and revenues in a specified territory. The Regional Sales Director will assist Account Executives to implement territory sales activities and achieve top-line revenues and is responsible for achieving sales objectives. The Regional Sales Director will assist the Account Executives and Clinical Liaisons in identification of customers including physicians, hospitals, nursing companies and payors in the territory.

  • Oversees the activities of the Account Executives and Clinical Liaisons with his/her locations.
  • Demonstrates ability to integrate sales team into the center.
  • Assists in the coordination of Bioscrip functions between and among operations staff and the sales team.
  • Assures coordination and synergy of the sales team.
  • Organizes and chairs periodic Bioscrip sales meetings.
  • Assists Branch Manager (or Regional Manager) in budget-development process
  • Takes responsibility for preparation, implementation and attainment of sales budgets.
  • Develops and maintains an effective level of communication between and among sales team and centers.
  • Encourages open communication and verbalization of opinions.
  • Takes initiative to present ideas and suggestions to management.
  • Assists General Manager, Account Executives and Clinical Liaisons by participating in major sales calls.
  • Each employee is responsible for adhering to those performance programs, policies, procedures, guidelines and internal control standards established to guide the operation of the Company. Each employee must be made aware of and understand proper internal control procedures associated with their specific job function as communicated by his/her manager.   • Managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that internal controls are established and functioning to achieve the mission and objectives of their unit. Each employee within an area under the manager or supervisor's direction must be made aware of and understand proper internal control procedures associated with their specific job function.
  • Managers and supervisors must acknowledge that utilization of internal controls is an inherent part of a manager's responsibility, not a new or additional function, and assure that internal controls are supportive of and consistent with the operating mandate and philosophy of the Company.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


    Supervises account executives and clinical liaisons.


    Bachelor's degree required with clinical or management emphasis. Master's degree preferred.

    Five years in-home infusion therapy experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record which meets company's standards. Must have auto insurance in effect at all times.

    • Ability to develop and implement financial plans and manage resources.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
    • Knowledge of marketing strategies, processes, and available resources.
    • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to assume flexible work schedule and travel 40% of the time. Ability to travel overnight occasionally.
    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret business information, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, managers, patients, employees, payors and the general public.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements. Ability to prepare budgets and revenue projections.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of abstract variables.
