Job Summary
This is a full-time, academic, faculty term appointment in the Allied Health Department. The Instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The instructor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. Job Duties

<li>Participates in departmental and college committees; and provides outreach service to the community.</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>Baccalaureate degree required (BSRT preferred). 
</li>
<li>Progress towards a Master’s degree with completion in accordance with JRCERT accreditation requirement deadlines. 
</li>
<li>Two (2) years experience as an instructor preferred. 
</li>
<li>Has an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification in Radiologic Technology. 
</li>
<li>Equivalent of three (3) years full-time experience in the professional discipline. 
</li>
<li>A background check will be required for the successful candidate.</li>

This pool of positions provides industry specific instruction through Workforce Development at Cleveland State Community College. The department is growing and expanding quickly. This posting is designed to identify, evaluate, and build a high quality pool of instructors that have experience in technical positions and that can instruct our clients to expand the knowledge, skills, and abilities of their employees. The adjunct instructor will need to be somewhat flexible as this is customized training with customized scheduling. This is a great way to earn extra money and spread your knowledge while helping local community industries. Retired industry leaders and past military personnel with technical training and the ability to teach are strongly encouraged to apply!
