Some responsibilities include pricing, waste characterizations, contract specifications, manifests and schedules, &amp; resolving invoice discrepancies, etc. to ensure accuracy of customers and/or Onyx personnel inquiries. Assists sales or related personnel in securing new business and maintaining existing customer base.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Answer customer inquiries on a variety of issues pertaining to waste disposal options, pricing, profiling, contracts, and regulations efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Process incoming waste profile sheets for accuracy and forward to appropriate destination indicating disposal methodologies for approval and resolve any discrepancies.</li><li>Enter a variety of information into the appropriate system programs to include profile information, approval decisions, and confirmation letters.</li><li>Respond to calls with respect to waste pickup and scheduling by informing appropriate personnel with dates, customer, and scheduling data.</li><li>Review billing packets for accurate coding data and confirm codes to match contracted pricing.&nbsp; Modify pricing information if incorrect in system.&nbsp; Follow up with a collection of open AR.</li><li>Make sales calls on established customers to provide additional services or maintain current customer base.</li><li>Assist VES-TS personnel in determining existing contract specifications, pricing, options, regulations, etc. to better service customer &amp; internal needs and service level.&nbsp; Preparation of customer quotations.</li><li>Process Certificate of Tracking (COT)/Certificate of Destruction (COD) requests within geography.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4>Education/Experience/Background:<ul><li>High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required</li><li>Associate’s degree or related discipline preferred&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Prior work experience of 1 to 3 years in the hazardous waste or related Industry preferred</li></ul>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>Ability to create &amp; prepare reports as necessary</li><li>Strong team player</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines</li><li>Strong customer orientation</li><li>Computer proficient</li></ul><h4>Additional Information</h4>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
