Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution in Medical Technology or in one of the Biological, Chemical or Physical Sciences, and with completion of a Medical Laboratory Technologist training program. Three years of full time clinical laboratory work experience. Certification Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or CLT (active standing).
Preferred Qualifications:
Collegiate level teaching experience. Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Rate: $675 - $800 per credit hour

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Music or Commercial Music or Associate’s degree in Audio Engineering with three years of non-teaching work experience
